Managing Director
Jae Kim joined Sandler Capital in 1999. His primary coverage area is the software side of technology, including enterprise, security, consumer, and entertainment software. He also covers Internet media and services, as well as online retailing. Prior to joining Sandler Capital, Mr. Kim was an analyst at Paul Kagan and Associates. While there he launched the company’s Internet advertising and streaming media research and consulting practices. He also covered consumer media technologies, movie production and distribution, home video, and digital media such as video on demand. Previously, Mr. Kim was a retail stockbroker for five years, most recently with Sutro & Co. He has a B.A. in International Economics/Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
